Recruiting Junior Project Assistant for EU-funded project in Serbia
The Euroconsultants S.A., Eucons, Eptisa and PricewaterhouseCoopers consortium is looking to recruit a Junior Project Assistant to support the implementation of the EU-funded project "Further support for implementation of DIS," based in Belgrade, Serbia.

UNDF invites civil society organizations to apply for funding

The United Nations Democracy Fund invites civil society organizations to apply for funding for projects to advance and support democracy. Project proposals may be submitted on-line between 15 November 2009 and 31 December 2010 at www.un.org/democracyfund, where applicants can also find guidelines, FAQs and lessons learned from previous rounds at http://www.un.org/democracyfund/Applicants/applicants_index.html.

 

The Human Rights Advocates Program (HRAP) competition
The Human Rights Advocates Program (HRAP) is a capacity building program designed to strengthen the skills, knowledge, and networks of proven human rights defenders at the grassroots level. Applicants from high-income countries will not be considered except for those representing marginalized communities.

HRAP focuses both on strengthening the skills of the individual Advocates and providing the tools for them to build sustainable organizations that advocate for disadvantaged peoples.

Completed applications are due by 11:59pm GMT on Friday, November 19, 2010

The WHO Scientific Resource Group on Equity Analysis and Research together with the Global Forum for Health Research and People's Health Movement announce a call for research proposals from civil society organizations (CSOs) on the theme:

‘Advancing health equity through research and practice - identifying what works to reduce health inequities'.

Minorities Fellowship Programme

The Minorities Fellowship Programme (MFP) was launched by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). Through this Programme, the OHCHR aims to give persons belonging to national or ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities - particularly young minority women and men - an opportunity to gain knowledge on the UN system and mechanisms dealing with international human rights in general and minority rights in particular.
