Local and Parliamentary Elections 2008

Civic Initiatives took part in the campaign for local and parliamentary elections scheduled for May 11th 2008, with the campaigns "Straight to Europe", "Civil Society Asks ", "Serbia in the EU - What's in there for me? What's in there for my city?", "Cut the story short, think of life".

The aim of these campaigns was to demonstrate European prospects for Serbia, explain to the citizens the benefits Serbia would gain by becoming the EU member and at the same time, stress that diversity represents the very essence of the European identity, whereas the objective of a TV show series "Civil Society Asks" was to initiate dialogue about the future of Serbia as seen by political parties.

The campaign was supported by the flyer "May 9th- Day of Victory over Fascism- Europe Day" and a CD with "Ode to Joy" interpreted in 5 different versions.
