Although the state of emergency in Serbia was lifted on May 6, given the large number of violations, Civic Initiatives will continue to monitor the situation in the field of all human rights in the coming period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The past period was marked by the trend of unpunished attacks on journalists and surprising decisions of the competent institutions. The public was shocked by the decision to overturn the first-instance verdict for the murder of Slavko \u0106uruvija, which creates fears that every crime and attack on journalists could go unpunished. On the same track is the decision to reject the criminal complaint filed by the journalist of KRIK Bojana Jovanovic against unknown men who were in the company of the son of President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, and who forcibly took away her phone.
