They have been largely left outside of the development of Transitional Justice (TJ) processes to deal with the wartime past(s).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through the project <em>Strengthening Inclusive Victim Voices, transforming Narratives, <\/em>which will last from 2021 to 2023, together with partners, we will work with victim groups in Kosovo, Serbia and North Macedonia to strengthen (institutional) capacities, improve the quality of their initiatives and projects, and create deeper relationships between diverse victim groups while also linking them with young activists and artists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this project, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paxforpeace.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PAX<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, partners with the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ictj.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Centre for Transitional Justice (ICTJ)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ngo-integra.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">INTEGRA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/newsocialinitiative.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Social Initiative (NSI)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0from Kosovo, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/mirovnaakcija.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Peace Action<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from North Macedonia and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gradjanske.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Civic Initiatives<\/a> from Serbia.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the entire post-war period in the Western Balkans, the victims of war have only played a role in the margins.
