On May 28 Civic Initiatives presented an online map of civil society activities during and after last year\u2019s flood, created with the support of the government\u2019s Office for Cooperation with the Civil Society. Representatives of the initiative, Bojana Selakovic and Vladica Jovanovic, said that the idea was for the map to present all the completed and ongoing activities of NGOs. Selkovic said that one-year activities were summarized this way with the idea to show the contribution given by civil society organizations compared to what the state did. She said that it\u2019s good that all those data are collected in one place because they could be useful in some other future situations. Jovnovic explained that the map shows data on recipients and providers of aid, the description and status of activities, donors, location and time during which aid was given.<\/p>\n

The map should show all that civil society organizations and local governments did, she said. The map of activities of civil society organizations in offering aid to the population hit by the floods is on the website www.udruzeni.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
