In the observed period, several attacks were recorded on journalistic teams reporting from gatherings of supporters of the government. What is particularly worrying is the fact that journalists were attacked by police officers, who took away their phones and physically prevented them from doing their journalistic work. Several threats were sent in the previous period against journalists and media in the country.<\/p>\n
In addition to attacks on journalists, the police also detained citizens and students at counter-gatherings of citizens organized as a sign of protest against gatherings of supporters of the ruling party.<\/p>\n
Court of Appeal judge Du\u0161anka \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107 filed a third lawsuit against KRIK journalists and their “Judge Who Judges” database. The latest lawsuit is an expansion of the previous lawsuits and it now includes editor Bojana Pavlovi\u0107 and journalist Jelena Radivojevi\u0107, for whom \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107 is also demanding a prison sentence and a ban on journalistic work.<\/p>\n
