Since our last report, we have recorded a continued trend of pressure and attacks targeting journalists, media workers, students, professors, and public sector employees.<\/p>\n
University professors at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, received identical threatening emails sent to their official university addresses. Meanwhile, Veran Mati\u0107, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) and member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists, was depicted in a propaganda film at the exact site of the murder of journalist Slavko \u0106uruvija. A student from the Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium faced pressure for giving a statement to N1 television, while civic activists have dealt with vehicle vandalism and other forms of intimidation. Farmers reported being pressured by the Security Intelligence Agency (BIA)immediately prior to protests, while approximately fourteen female activists in the Kula municipality received threats of revenge pornography.<\/p>\n
