The past two weeks have been marked by numerous pressures and targeting of journalists, sudden dismissals and attacks in education, as well as difficulties in the gathering of citizens.<\/p>\n
The attack on the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade and the insulting comments he received during the attack indicate that the academic community is being targeted even before the elections. The continuity of targeting and repression in higher education towards professors and students has been recorded since the beginning of student blockades and protests.<\/p>\n
The letter of the N1 journalist that he sent to the High Public Prosecutor’s Office was published in its entirety in the pro-regime tabloids, which caused a hunt for the journalist. This case shows the connection of state authorities with pro-regime tabloids.<\/p>\n
