Novi Sad, 1st of November, 2016<\/strong>. – Women’s Rural Network\u00a0of Vojvodina gathered on 22nd of October in Novi Sad, 29 delegates from 14 rural women’s associations from Vojvodina on the occasion of the constituent meeting with aim to establish a network.<\/p>\n Vision, mission and the founding\u00a0goals of\u00a0the Women’s Rural Network were presented at the meeting. This network was established with the aim of improving the position of women and young people in the rural areas. It is considered that women, through the newly established Network, will be able to communicate easier with local governments and authorities at the regional, as well as the national level. Women’s Rural Network of Vojvodina exhanced examples of\u00a0best practices, which will contribute to the economic empowerment of women living in rural areas.<\/p>\n In the furthe Conclusion of the constituent meeting was that the network must operate as a common, visible, transparent organization, because, according to participants, “it will be easier to reach the goal”.
