Elections Under the Magnifying Glass

Civil initiatives will continuously monitor and record cases of violations of freedom of expression, assembly and association during the pre-election campaign. We will point out all omissions and illegal actions during the election campaign, including cases of abuse of public resources and public functions for the purpose of running the campaign. We will report on all these issues to the interested public on a weekly basis.

The previous week in the pre-election context was marked by the abuse of children in the pre-election campaign, pressure and threats to journalists and candidates on the Student List, as well as the manipulation of narratives by SNS. Pressures on employees continued, especially in public enterprises, and Serbian citizens from abroad report missing or incomplete information regarding elections and voting from abroad.
